East Meets West

A biotechnology entrepreneur from Washington, D.C. moved to the innovative Kendall Square neighborhood and settled into this loft in 2008. He came with inherited furniture reflecting his traditional Southern upbringing, but wanted his new home to reflect his international business endeavors.

A blend of East and West is balanced by using 19th-century English antiques alongside Chinese pieces. The walls remain white, with accessories and art providing accent colors.

The most stunning investment purchased from Heidi Pribell Interiors was an 18th century Chinese red lacquer screen once owned by the United States Assistant Secretary of Treasury under John Astor.
